Rig Racer 2 is an arcade-style truck racing game in which the player is given the choice of eight trucks to race around four conventional racing track circuits. The game features three difficulty settings for single race, time trial and challenge modes as well as a two-player split-screen racing mode.

Need for Speed - Nitro is an arcade racer and features real-world automotive licenses. The races include classical circuit races, K.O. races, time trials, and races where you have to pass a certain point at the highest speed possible. Also the Drag- and Driftraces introduced in The Need for Speed Underground series are here as well. In this part the police is present again providing high speed chases with the player with the possibility to take their side too.
