The friendlier you are with your partner, the stronger you get. Show your opponents the full force of friendship. First time in the games, Yubel, Yuki's ex-favorite duel card made her appearance. Highly powerful but jealously possessive, beware when you decide to use her in battle. The darkness possessed Yuki, Haou Judai and the personification of darkness Mr. T are also part of the battle roster.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force is divided in three parts. In the first one the player has to team up with one of the famous characters from the anime. There are different conversation options and each Sunday a Tag Duel is held with one of the chosen partners. Affection needs to be built up through conversations and gifts until a partner has six hearts. Eventually the Tag Force Tournament at the end of July needs to be won and that is where the second part starts. A final partner is chosen and the characters much progress through duels to acquire 90 GX Medals and make it to the final round of the tournament. In the third part all Shadow Riders (Steven Stars in Japan) must be defeated that have brainwashed other characters.

Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Tag Force 5 is the fifth installment of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force series, and the final installment to be released internationally. The game uses the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game Master Rules. Unlike the real game, it includes many cards that have appeared in the anime, that haven't been released in real life, the Dark Synchro Monsters and Egyptian Gods effects and rules are closer to their anime than real life counterparts.

Yu-Gi-Oh GX Tag Force 3 (M8) is the third game based on the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force is a card game, following the TCG rules (OCG in Japan) and based on the first season of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime series. The player controls a young boy who enrolls at a foreign student at the Duel Academy. The protagonist starts with a water deck and gains cards, which can be purchased from the store with DPs, as time goes by. After completing the game it an be restarted with another character to gain DPs. The duels are played from an almost top-down view with turn-based card desk battles.

In Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters GX Tag Force, the player enrolls at Duel Academy as a transfer student. The main focus of the game is a Tag Force tournament that will take place on the island. Players must find a partner to compete in the tournament alongside. The game includes characters from the anime, as well as characters exclusive. Three promotional cards come packed with the game - 'Phantom Beast Cross-Wing', 'Phantom Beast Thunder-Pegasus' and 'Phantom Beast Wild-Horn'.
